Realme unveiled its budget smartphone, the Realme 9i, in India on Tuesday, with a starting price of Rs 13,999. The phone will go on sale early on January 25 on Realme.com, Flipkart, and other channels. The Realme 9i is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 6nm processor and a first-in-class 33W Dart Charging technology. The Realme 9i 6GB/128GB variant costs Rs 15,999.

The Realme 9i is a low-cost smartphone that runs Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android 11 OS. The device has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ screen with a 20.1:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen has a touch sampling rate of 180Hz and is protected by a layer of Dragon Trail Pro glass. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, an Adreno 610 GPU, and 6GB of RAM.

The Realme 9i also has 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot up to 1TB. There is dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity. The low-cost phone also has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. The Realme 9i has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP portrait shooter, and another 2MP macro camera.
