Mark Finchem has regained access to his Twitter account, just an hour after Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk said that he would “look into” the suspension of the Arizona Secretary of State candidate who will be running for the November 8 mid-term elections.

Currently a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, Finchem posted on his Facebook that he had been suspended from his Twitter account, for allegedly breaking “Twitter rules” earlier on Monday. He followed up by saying that he had not been notified about what he “did wrong” to lose access to his tweeting privileges.

A lawyer by the name of Jenna Ellis, who used to represent former president Donald Trump in 2020 tagged Elon Musk with a screenshot of the suspension. Barely an hour later after Musk’s reply to the tweet, Finchem had regained access to his account.

Though Finchem has been in the Arizona House of Representatives since 2015, he backed Trump’s claim that the election was stolen. Finchem was also present at the January 6 riots at Captiol Hill and has been known to support various conspiracy theories.
