The Dallas Cowboys released their thorough injury report on Wednesday despite not holding a complete practice. Wide receiver Brandin Cooks, who is battling a knee ailment, was a notable addition to the Did Not Participate (DNP) list.

Mike McCarthy, the head coach, offered some consolation, saying that Cooks is “doing OK” and would try to engage in some activities the next day. Following their participation in Thursday’s complete practice session with pads, LG Tyler Smith (hamstring), S Donovan Wilson (calf), and Cooks’ injury (and its severity) will be evaluated.

LT Tyron Smith, whose ankle condition had caused concern, participated fully, showing that there are fewer concerns about his injury.

Wide receiver Brandin Cooks is well-known in American football and is presently a member of the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL). He won unanimous All-American honors at Oregon State, where he started his collegiate football career. The New Orleans Saints later selected Cooks in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Cooks was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft and was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team in 2014. He has been selected for two Pro Bowls (2017, 2020).

He has constantly shown his skill as a receiver over the course of his nine-season career, racking up an amazing 5,019 receiving yards and netting 34 touchdowns. His outstanding play has earned him two Pro Bowl honors and a position on the 2014 NFL All-Rookie Team.

Cooks is well known for his extraordinary speed and ability to make significant plays after receiving the ball. He is also praised for his steady hands and adeptness at running precise routes. He made the switch to the Dallas Cowboys in 2022 via a trade. He is expected to be crucial to the Cowboys’ offensive plan for the 2023 campaign.
