Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fulfilling the dream of construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that the world is witnessing the power of India’s democratic values under Modi.
Speaking after the Ram Mandir bhumi pujan ceremony, Adityanath said the country has set an example how matters can be resolved peacefully. PM Modi performed the rituals amid chanting of hymns at Ram Janmabhoomi during a event which was attended by a select list of people including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

“Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the power of India’s democratic values and its judiciary has shown the world that how can matters by resolved peacefully, democratically and constitutionally,” the UP CM said.
Addressing the gathering in Ayodhya, Mohan Bhagwat showered praise on all those associated with the Ram mandir movement while remembering veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader Lal Krishna Advani, who led the movement for two decades, could not attend the foundation stone laying event due to coronavirus outbreak.
“Due to the pandemic, many in spirit at the ceremony. So many people had sacrificed, they couldn’t be here physically. There are some who couldn’t come here, Advani ji must be at his home watching this. There are some who should’ve come but couldn’t be invited because of the situation,” the RSS chief said.
“We believe in taking everyone along. Today is a new beginning of a new India,” he added.
