British Actor Emilia Clarke, who inscribed her name in pop culture history after playing Daenerys in ‘Game of Thrones’, turned 34 on Friday.

The HBO show, which ran for eight seasons, came to an end last year with a bag full of mixed reviews. However, over the course of the show, Clarke was lauded for her intense performance.

Along with the hit show, Clarke has thrived in several films and plays.

Most recently she was part of Anya Reiss’ version of Russian playwright Anton Chekhov’s play ‘The Seagull’, directed by Jamie Lloyd.

In films, Clarke captured our imagination and heart in ‘Me Before You’ alongside Sam Claflin in 2016. She also became a part of the ‘Star Wars’ franchise, when she played the character of Qi’ra in ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’.

Not just for her acting prowess, the London-born is also celebrated for her adorable reactions and quirky nature that she so unabashedly carries.

Her fans and followers flooded Twitter with her videos and pictures to wish her on her birthday.

While one hailed her as “one of the most precious human beings in the world”, another called her a “ray of sunshine”.
