Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed their baby number 4 via surrogate.

The Cravings cookbook author, 37, and the legendary musician, 44, confirmed the happy news on Instagram Wednesday in a lengthy post. They also revealed that their son’s name was Wren Alexander Stephens and he was born on June 19.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted four children” … adding she’d always play with 4 dolls when she was a little girl,” the post said.

“We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra,” she said, referencing their “most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate. And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens. Our hearts, and our home, are officially full. And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you.”

The new addition to the couple’s family comes just five months after they welcomed baby Esti. After Esti was born, Teigen got a slew of hateful comments accusing her of secretly using a surrogate to conceive the baby. She then posted an intimate shot taken after her cesarean section, with the words, “Extremely realistic ‘moon bump.'”

She also spoke about her first C-section with People Magazine in March, expressing how excited she was about her surgery.

“I was kind of excited because I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’ve done the vaginal thing twice. Let’s try this,'” she said about the births of her sons Miles Theodore, 4, and daughter Luna Simone, 7. “I really love surgery. I like that I’ve seen both experiences,” added Teigen, who shares her children with musician husband Legend. The incision is a lot, and you never know how your stomach’s going to come together. I think your organs are on the table for a second, but that, to me, is so cool. I was taking pictures above the seat. I have the craziest pictures of the cord and everything.”

The couple had reached out to a surrogacy agency in 2021, a year after she and her husband lost their son Jack due to complications. During their search for a surrogate, Teigen got pregnant with Esti, after undergoing IVF. Teigen also revealed that the first embryo didn’t take for Alexandra and that she had to undergo surgeries to make sure that the second transfer would work.
