Los Angeles Rams cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon took a one-handed pick against Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow during Monday Night Football on week 3 in NFL 2023.

Here is a video of the moment in slow motion:

Witherspoon undercut a route by Tyler Boyd. Although Burrow almost at the ball in his grasp, Witherspoon dove over Bengals’ QB to single-handedly secure the ball. After the spectacular dive, they both landed at a safe distance from each other. Both appeared to be eyeing each other competitively.

In what is being hailed as probably among one of the best interceptions this season, Witherspoon seems to be determined to do everything he can to keep his team in the game after the Rams struggled badly on offense. The exceptional interception took place in the fourth quarter of the game against the Bengals.

It was almost unbelievable he was able to make this play and hold on for the pick. But Witherspoon somehow managed to pull it off.

Coming out of Colorado, Witherspoon was projected to be a second or third-round pick by the majority of NFL draft experts and scouts after having accumulated 71 tackles and three interceptions across his college career. He was ranked the 14th-best cornerback prospect in the draft by NFLDraftScout.com.
