Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, better known as AOC, has been photographed for the December 2020 issue of Vanity Fair and she has become a talk about already.

Not only her life story, but the 31-year-old Congresswoman’s luxury outfits certainly steal the show.

The images feature her wearing three classy suits by Loewe, Carolina Herrera, Christopher John Rogers and Aliétte, plus a polka dot dress by Wales Bonner.

Rep Ocasio-Cortez, who is famous for her ready-to-go red lipstick, also discussed it serving as “war paint” in Congress, but the story doesn’t focus only on fashion and beauty.

Vanity Fair has covered the woman’s story from her early childhood to her political career and aspirations.

Speaking to Vanity Fair as the cover star, Ocasio-Cortez said she thinks she is feared by her senior fellow Democrats.

The Democratic socialist also discussed her relations with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. “Two powerful women coming from different perspectives, and there has to be a catfight,” she said.

“There was a time where the volume of threats had gotten so high that I didn’t even know if I was going to live to my next term,” Ocasio-Cortez told Vanity Fair referencing the number of death threats she received since becoming such a famous political face.

While the progressive Democrat acknowledged that she did not know what her political future would be like, she also joked about what she accomplished is enough.

“I don’t want to aspire to a quote-unquote higher position just for the sake of that title or just for the sake of having a different or higher position,” she confessed.

“I don’t want to be a saviour, I want to be a mirror.”
