Former US President Barack Obama is doing everything he can to seek votes for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden for the US presidential elections 2020. In his latest attempt, he called up Alyssa, urging her to go to vote and also tell people around her to vote, as well.

While he was talking to Alyssa, an unexpected guest interrupted their conversation mid-way. The guest was Alyssa’s eight-month-old baby boy.

In a two-minute-long video, which was posted on his official social account, Obama can be seen talking to the mother, who is elated after receiving a call from the former US president.

“You could be the difference between someone making it out to the polls or staying home. And many states could be decided by a handful of votes. Join me and make some calls for Joe in the last few days of this election,” he captioned the video.

“Hey Jacks. What’s going on, man?” asked Obama.

As COVID-19 has affected the election rallies this year, Obama has chosen ‘phone banking’ to stay safe.

The brief clip has garnered over 4 million views on Twitter, in which Obama was asking Alyssa to vote for Biden in the US presidential elections.

Obama also asked the voter to remind her family and friends to cast their votes for Biden. “I can’t wait (to vote),” she said.

Understanding her situation as a new mother, he also volunteered to give Alyssa her polling station details if she needed. He then exchanged pleasantries and ended the conversation.

It’s Election Day in the United States and this is the last chance for politicians to seek as many votes as possible. Millions of Americans have already cast their votes, making it a close race.
