rapper Trey Songz is once again in the news for all the wrong reasons. A leaked
alleged sex tape surfaced recently
, and although the 36-year-old rapper is not
visible in the video, eagle-eyed netizens have spotted a number of similarities
between him and the person in the video.

Some people
have noticed that the person in the video clip sounded like Songz, while others
pointed out that his arm tattoos were very similar to the singer’s.

This latest
controversy comes on the back of his recent arrest while attending a Kansas
City Chiefs football game against the Buffalo Bills.

According to a report in
TMZ, Songz was refusing to comply with the coronavirus protocols at the Arrowhead
Stadium and was not wearing a mask.

Security
officials intervened following complaints from fans but even they could not get
Songz to comply and cops had to be called. He also reportedly got into an
altercation with the police, with witnesses claiming it was self-defence on his
part.

He was
arrested for trespassing, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.

In December
2020, Songz – who tested positive for COVID-19 in October – hosted an indoor “Champagne
Saturdays” event at a nightclub with around 500 people, according to People.com.

People
attending the event at the Ohio nightclub Aftermath, amid the raging
coronavirus pandemic in the world’s worst-affected country, shared drinks and flouted
coronavirus protocols.

Songz was
also arrested in 2018 and was charged with felony domestic violence after he
allegedly punched a woman at a party in Los Angeles. He addressed the incident on
social media after his release, claiming he was “being lied on and falsely
accused for someone’s personal gain”.

Earlier, in
2016, Songz faced charges for assaulting a police officer after allegedly
throwing music equipment from the stage after he was directed to end his
performance. Two people were injured in the incident, including a police sergeant.
 

He pledged
guilty to two misdemeanour charges of disturbing peace and was handed a 18-month
probation sentence.
