‘Can I change my vote’ trended on Google earlier this week as more than 60 million Americans have cast their ballots ahead of Election Day, reported Fox News.

According to reports, Google searches of the phrase ‘can I change my vote’ peaked on Tuesday morning in the US.

Delaware, a state that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden represented in the Senate for 36 years, was one of the subregions where the phrase began trending.

Maine, Pennsylvania, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Iowa, Wisconsin and Arizona were also among the subregions where the phrase was trending, according to Trend data at various points throughout Tuesday morning.

Though most states do not allow voters to change their early votes, there are some that do, with restrictions.

For instance, New Yorkers, who have submitted an absentee ballot, can show up at a polling place during early voting or on Election Day and cast a vote, according to the state Board of Elections.

The early voter turnout in the US has surpassed 2016 record. So far, nearly 60 million Americans have voted early as compared to 47.2 million early votes in 2016, according to data from the U.S. Elections Project.

Soon after the trend, President Donald Trump tweeted voters to “go do it,” claiming without evidence that the trend “refers to changing it to me.”

The elections in the US are slated for November 3.
