A shooting incident occurred on Friday night during a gathering in North Lawndale, Chicago. The incident reportedly left four teenagers injured. 

According to the Chicago police, two suspects approached a sizable crowd at 11:50 p.m. in the 3500 block of West 13th Place and shot randomly into it.

According to the police, a 19-year-old male victim was shot six times on the left side of his body and was taken immediately in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital. A woman, age 18, who had been shot in the upper back was also sent to Mount Sinai Hospital and was there listed in critical condition.

Fortunately, two 17-year-old guys who were also hit by gunfire and were injured were not severely injured, according to the police. One of them was sent to Mount Sinai Hospital after receiving gunshot wounds to his arm and leg. According to the police, the other youngster was shot twice in the buttocks and sent to Stroger Hospital.

The police authorities are still investigating, as of now, no arrests have been made in the case.

Meanwhile, another shooting incident occurred in Newburg, Louisville on Friday night. The shooting claimed the life of one individual and injured another.

Aaron Ellis, a spokesman for the LMPD, reported that at around 11 p.m., police were sent to the 3400 block of Prestwood Drive, which is close to Preston Highway, in response to a gunshot. When the police arrived, they found two guys who had been shot.

Both victims were swiftly transferred to the University of Louisville Hospital by Emergency Medical Services (EMS). According to Ellis, the initial patient to arrive at the hospital is thought to have non-life-threatening wounds. Tragically, the second victim died at the hospital shortly after succumbing to their injuries.

The Homicide Unit of the LMPD is in charge of looking into this shooting. Ellis added that a person of interest in relation to the event is being questioned by detectives at the moment.
