A shooting incident occurred on the city’s South Side on Saturday afternoon, as confirmed by police officials. The tragic incident left nine individuals including four police officers injured in the action.
The shooting took place in the Grand Crossing area of Chicago’s South Side in the 7000 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue at around 3:30 p.m. on a Saturday. Following this encounter, there was a wreck that left nine people hurt, including four Chicago police officers.

A car approached a 24-year-old guy and a 28-year-old woman who were standing close to the sidewalk. According to the authorities, at least one person inside the car fired a gun, striking the male in the thigh and the woman in the buttocks.
Both patients were sent in good condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Officers then found the shooting-related vehicle in the Washington Park neighborhood, close to East 54th Street and South State Street. A collision took place at this point.

Two Chicago Police Department (CPD) officers were transported in serious condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center, according to the Chicago Fire Department. While a fourth cop chose to self-transport to a nearby hospital, a third officer was also brought to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
Five civilians, all of whom were believed to be in good health, were taken to neighboring hospitals. Three of them were rushed to Insight Chicago, and the other two were brought to Provident Hospital.
Four people were detained, according to the police, and two firearms were found. Area One detectives are conducting the case, and charges are still pending.
Meanwhile, another shooting incident occurred In the west Las Vegas valley near Rainbow Boulevard and Sahara Avenue on Friday evening. The incident claimed the life of one person and injured another.
The police officials are currently investigating the incident.
