Local media reports said that multiple people were seen being taken from the scene on stretchers. Many of the victims were taken to South Shore Hospital.

In a statement, a spokeswoman for South Shore Hospital said, “We were told to expect patients. No numbers at this time. They are in the process of arriving.”

Several ambulances were seen taking people who were injured to get medical care.

A tow truck was seen near the store, which local reporters believe, could be used to pull the SUV out of the store at some point.

According to NBC, the store did not have a lot of space between the front of the building and the merchandise tables.
