‘Donald Trump, Ivanka parrot statue’ began trending on Thursday as an increasing number of people remembered the infamous and creepy photo of the former president with his daughter which had become viral in 2016 when he was running for the Oval Office for the first time.

People started searching for the photo after Newsweek published an extract of Blowback: A Warning to Save Democracy from the Next Trump, a book by Miles Taylor, the former Trump administration official who had also famously written an op-ed about the former president under the pen name “Anonymous.”

It claimed that Trump made lewd comments about his daughter, Ivanka’s appearance and imagined what it would be like to have sex with her. “Aides said he talked about Ivanka Trump’s breasts, her backside, and what it might be like to have sex with her, remarks that once led John Kelly to remind the president that Ivanka was his daughter,” Taylor writes. “Afterward, Kelly retold that story to me in visible disgust. Trump, he said, was ‘a very, very evil man.’” John Kelly was Trump’s chief of staff at the time.

What is Donald Trump, Ivanka parrot statue?

In 2016, when every past controversy involving Trump and his family was being dissected by the media, a photo, initially taken in 1996 at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate began making rounds on the Internet.

The photo shows Ivanka, sitting on Trump’s lap with her hand on his cheek, cradling his face. Ivanka, believed to be 15 at the time, looked lovingly at her father while Trump had a magnetic expression his face. In the lower right-hand corner, two parrot statues appeared to be having sex while spitting water from their beaks.

Ivanka wore a light blue mini skirt with a flower-pattered sleeveless top and her father wore an off-white suit.

Nine years after the photo was taken, Trump was asked in an interview how he would feel if his daughter appeared in Playboy. “It would be really disappointing — not really — but it would depend on what’s inside the magazine,” Trump said. “I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”
