“Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family. There are no words to explain the pain,” the singer said during a press conference. Adding, “Please keep my family in your prayers at this time.”

Stating this incident as tragic loss, counsel to Bobby Brown, Esq. of Brown & Rosen LLC, Christopher Brown said, “Bobby Brown Jr. was not feeling well a couple days before his death, with flu-like symptoms.”

The police do not believe the involvement of foul play.

Bobby Brown’s ex-wife Whitney Houston, who was a legendary singer, was found dead after drowning in a Beverly Hills hotel room bathtub in 2012. Coroner’s officials pronounced Houston’s death accidental and said heart disease and cocaine were contributing factors.

On January 31, 2015, their daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was found face-down in a bathtub at her suburban Atlanta home. She was in a coma for six months before dying in hospice care at age of 22.

Brown began his singing career as a member of the R&B group New Edition prior to becoming a solo artist with hits including My Prerogative and Every Little Step.
