Rapper Kanye West has
agreed with spouse Kim Kardashian West that the two should have joint custody
of their children, as well as that neither of the two would be needing spousal
support, as per various media reports.

West’s divorce response was
filed on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Kardashian, on the other hand,
had filed for divorce seven weeks earlier, legally initiating the process to break
off their six-and-a-half-year marriage.

West’s divorce filing was
virtually the same as that by Kardashian West’s filing, agreeing to the fact
that the marriage should end over irreconcilable differences and furthermore that
the two should share custody of their four children, North (9), Saint (5), Chicago
(3), Psalm, who will be turning two next month.

The response from the rapper
also asks, much like Kardashian’s earlier filing, to end the court’s right to give
spousal support to either of the two.

The February 19 petition by
Kardashian West had earlier noted that the two had a pre-nuptial agreement, and
that following the same, the two had kept their properties separate throughout
their marriage.

The marriage between the
two icons – Kardashian from entertainment and reality TV, and rapper as well as
fashion personality West – was one of the biggest celebrity marriages in recent
years.

It marked the third marriage
for Kardashian, and the first for West.
