Kim Kardashian, an American supermodel-businesswoman, recently landed herself in trouble after she shared controversial pictures on her social media handle.

Kim shared pictures on her official Twitter handle where she can be seen wearing a shimmery red gown co-ordinated with a flower full sleeves blazer. Her outfit was accessorised with oversized hoop earrings with ‘Om’ carved on them. That is the flash point of controversy.

Her choice of earrings has brought in a controversial element to her look as people assert that sacred symbols from religion should not be turned into accessories just for the sake of aesthetics.

Nevertheless, as soon as the picture went viral over social media platforms, Kim Kardashian was slammed by netizens for hurting religious sentiments by wearing earrings with ‘Om’ carved on it. Some even demanded an apology from the global star.
