Lollapalooza, Chicago’s largest music festival, announced its 2022 comeback Tuesday. Headliners for this summer’s music fest include Metallica, Dua Lipa, J. Cole, Green Day, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Baby and Kygo.

The festival is set to put four-day tickets on sale at noon Tuesday. One-day tickets will be available at a later date.

More than 170 performances are slated for eight stages in Grant Park over the last weekend of July (28-31).

The lineup will also feature Charli XCX, Glass Animals, Jane’s Addiction, Billy Strings, Big Sean, The Kid Laroi, Jazmine Sullivan, Don Toliver, Idles, Turnstile, Kaskade, Rezz and others.

Chicago artists include 100 gecs, John Summit, Beach Bunny, Horsegirl and Jackie Hayes. New acts include Remi Wolf, Fletcher, Zach Bryan, PinkPantheress, Muna, Goth Babe, Role Model, Wet Leg, Gracie Abrams, Pi’erre Bourne, Glaive and Maude Latour.

Below are the package details for four-day tickets and the prices.

The 4-Day General Admission ticket price starts from $350. This will include free water stations; lockers with charging capabilities for rent; children 10 and under free with access to Kidzapalooza

The 4-Day General Admission+ starts from $650. This one adds shade and seating in two areas near Buckingham Fountain; premium restrooms; full-service bar with preferred pricing on water, sodas, beer, wine and cocktails.

The 4-Day VIP, which is priced from $1,500, adds elevated viewing platforms for the north and south main stages; access to the Lolla Lounges North and South; golf cart shuttle transportation between the Lolla Lounges; preferred pricing for locker rentals with mobile charging in Lolla Lounge South; dedicated entrance into the festival; express spa treatments and concierge services.

The 4-Day Platinum begins from $4,200 and has climate-controlled Platinum Lounges including cocktails, beer, wine and curated culinary offerings; prime viewing areas for six stages; golf cart shuttle transportation between all Platinum sites and the dedicated entrance; complimentary spa treatments, lockers, concierge services and a Lollapalooza merchandise gift; presale access to Lolla Aftershows

On Feb. 28, Illinois and Chicago eased their COVID restrictions, lifting their indoor mask and proof of vaccination requirements. Organizers said that all health and safety policies, such as negative tests, masks and proof of vaccination, may be required for the event, similar to last year. Additional details about the necessary measures will be announced ahead of the festival.
