A new mugshot of convicted murderer Lori Vallow, who also is infamously known as “Doomsday Mom” has gone viral after she was seen smiling in it.
The mugshot, which was released on May 15, showed Vallow grinning days after she was convicted of the murders of her two children. On May 12, Vallow was unanimously found guilty on all counts of killing her two children and conspiring in the murder of her husband’s first wife, Tammy Daybell.

She was also found guilty of grand theft for stealing her children’s Social Security benefits after they were killed. The bodies of J.J. Vallow and Tylee Ryan were discovered on Vallow’s fourth husband Chad Daybell’s property on June 9, 2020. They went missing months before their corpses were discovered.
Lori Vallow’s husband Chad Daybell, is a doomsday author who has written over 25 books about the end of the world. She met him sometime in 2018. The couple tied the knot in November 2019 shortly after Lori’s children went missing. The couple is also accused of murdering Daybell’s ex-wife, Tammy Daybell in October 2019 under suspicious circumstances.

Vallow has been found guilty and Daybell is currently facing trial for the same charges. He is to face a jury in six months.
During the trial, investigators testified detailing how they discovered the siblings’ decomposing remains on Daybell’s property. According to the Ada County coroner, J.J. died of asphyxiation by a plastic bag but Tylee’s cause of death could not be determined. This is due to the fact that the latter’s remains were dismembered and badly burned before they were buried.
Before her conviction, Vallow had participated in beauty pageants for years.
