White House aide Nicholas Luna, who serves an assistant to the President of the United States tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, as per Bloomberg Report.

Luna was diagnosed with the disease 24 hours after US President Donald Trump was admitted to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre.

President Donald Trump who had tested positive for COVID-19 along with First Lady Melania Trump on Friday had to be admitted to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre oxygen level dropped rapidly.

Dr Sean Conley issued a statement on Saturday saying that the President was doing well and had made “substantial progress” since his diagnosis.

Nicholas Luna who serves as an assistant to Donald Trump is known as his “body man”, as per Bloomberg Report.

Luna’s positive diagnosis takes the COVID-19 count in President Donald Trump’s inner circle to six. Those among President Donald Trump’s inner circle who tested positive for COVID-19 are Hope Hicks, Kelleyanne Conway, Ronna Mc Daniel, Chris Christie and Bill Stepien, Nicholas Luna.

Hope Hicks, the President’s trusted aide and senior advisor, who holds a key position in the White House, tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday. Hicks was one of the first White House officials to test positive for the disease in the week. 

Hicks had shown signs of coronavirus when she accompanied the US President Donald Trump to Minnesota for a campaign speech on Wednesday and tested positive for the disease, on Thursday, as per AFP report.

Kelleyanne Conway, Ronna Mc Daniel, Chris Christie, Bill Stepien all tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.

Luna runs operations that take place at the Oval Office for the White House. He had accompanied the President to Cleveland for the First Presidential Debate, as per Bloomberg Report. Luna travels closely with the US President as per requirements of his job and holds key papers and also helps the President keep to his schedule.
