A single-engine plane crashed and exploded on Wednesday in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, according to local authorities.
The aircraft had taken off from the nearby Queen City Airport the spokesman for the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority confirmed. Reports say the aircraft crashed on Keystone Avenue at around 1:45 PM local time at Salisbury Township.

Daniel Buglio, the Leigh County Coroner, has confirmed to a local news outlet that he was called to the scene after the crash. It means that at least one person has died in the incident.
Local emergency broadcasts said that the crash did not lead to any collateral damages. The aircraft reportedly crashed 30 feet from a house on the 1600 block of Keystone Avenue which was followed by an explosion almost immediately
The Salisbury Township police are present at the spot and closed off parts of Keystone Avenue. A Facebook alerted the locals that a critical emergency response has been initiated in the area.
