Britain’s Queen Elizabeth and the entire royal family were “delighted” over the news that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are expecting their second child, Reuters reported quoting a Buckingham Palace spokesman. The Queen, her husband Prince Philip, Harry’s father Prince Charles and the entire family were “delighted” over the news and have wished the couple well, the spokesman said.

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day on Sunday, the British royal’s spokesperson announced that the couple was expecting their second child, AFP reported.

“We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother,” the spokesman said, referring to the couple’s son. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”

The couple released a black and white image of them under a tree with Markle showing signs of pregnancy.

Their first son Archie was born in May, 2019.

Harry and Markle quit the royal duties last year and now live in California, USA. 

In November, last year, Markle opened up that she had suffered a miscarriage. 

The couple’s announcement on Sunday came days after Princess Eugenie, a granddaughter of the queen, gave birth to a baby boy.
