A shooting was reported in Shady Spring elementary school on Thursday. Two people were declared dead following the incident.
A woman was shot and died inside her car in front of Shady Spring Elementary School, according to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office. The male suspect fled the scene of the shooting and went to a home in Beckley, where he tragically committed suicide.
Traffic was rerouted around Shady Spring Elementary School due to the active situation for student safety. The local community has obviously been affected by this terrible tragedy, which is currently the subject of an investigation by the police. The female victim, who was in her car, had numerous gunshot wounds, according to an official statement. She passed away from her wounds and was declared dead there.
The incident appears to be domestic in origin based on the information that is currently available. Since there is no immediate danger to the public, according to the authorities, the incident was probably limited and contained. The names of the victim and suspect have not been disclosed by the police officials as of now.

Meanwhile, a 40-year-old man was shot dead by police in Southeast Baltimore, who had an open warrant against him. Police officers acted after he shot with an automatic weapon at a car.
Acting Police Commissioner Richard Worley revealed at a press conference that at 5:30 pm, officers located and recognized the person wanted on a police warrant close to the 100 block of Milton Avenue.
Worley in a statement said, “I can’t say enough about the bravery of our men and women going out there every single day this individual was firing an automatic weapon at our officers and he dropped that weapon and was getting ready to fire a second automatic weapon.”

Authorities are currently looking into the incident’s specifics, including the precise sequence of events leading up to the shooting and the suspect’s motivation.
