On Wednesday, Temple University students received a warning about a shooting incident in close proximity to their campus, as per an alert issued by the university.

In a message posted on X, previously known as Twitter, the university disclosed that gunshots had been discharged on the 1400 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue at approximately 4 p.m.

The university emphasized caution, urging individuals to steer clear of the affected area and assured that the police were en route to respond to the situation.

A representative from Temple University informed FOX 29 that as of the latest update, no reports of any victims had been received.

SkyFOX conducted aerial coverage of the scene, revealing that the area had been cordoned off with yellow police tape.
