American singer Taylor Swift
has put an end to speculations brewing around, William Bowery, the mystery
co writer of her latest song ‘Folklore’ by revealing that the one who is
credited, is in fact her current boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

The revelation was made by
the ‘Blank Space’ singer herself on the Disney Plus documentary ‘Folklore: the long pond
studio sessions’, which just got released this Wednesday.

The pop star confessed the fact in the concert film during one of her conversation regarding all the collaborators
where she explicitly mentions Joe’s name as the secret co-writer.

“There’s been a lot of
discussion about William Bowery and his identity, because…it’s not a real person.
So, William Bowery is Joe …as we know.” Taylor said in the shot.

She then went on to
appreciate her boyfriend’s musical skills by saying, “Joe plays piano
beautifully and he’s always just playing and making things up and kind of
creating things.”

This, however, is not the
first time for Taylor to collaborate with Joe as he was credited as William
Bowery in her previous tracks ‘Betty’ and ‘Exile’ too.

Swift also unveiled that it
was Joe Alwyn, who wrote the “entire piano part” on ‘Exile’ and
originally sung the part of the duet that was eventually recorded by Bon Iver’s
Justin Vernon.

Meanwhile, the album
‘Folklore’, which was officially released on July 24 and debuted atop the August
8-dated Billboard 200, is known to be Taylor’s isolation product was followed
by her third concert film of 2020.

The film features rehearsals
and recorded performance of the hit album along with all the conversation
between Taylor and co-creators, Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner.
