A strong tornado unleashed chaos and devastation upon the residences of Greenwood, Indiana, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

The tornado ripped across the neighborhood, destroying homes in its path and easily uprooting trees with its ferocious winds and unrelenting intensity. Several clips of the tornado charging further went viral on social media.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for the majority of Indiana due to the passage of a cold front through the upper Midwest. According to the National Weather Service, this watch is in force until 8 p.m. Eastern time and covers a large area that stretches from Bloomington in the south to South Bend in the north.

The forecast said the storm has the potential to produce wind gusts of more than 75 miles per hour and hail as large as golf balls and the potential of people being hurt if trapped outside owing to the impact of hailstones is anticipated, along with damage to siding and roofs. The residents in this region are encouraged to be on the lookout for potential tornado activity during this timeframe and to maintain vigilance.

Multiple Twitter users reacted and shared clips of a raging Tornado in Greenwood, Indiana. One user tweeted, “That is insane and reminds us how small and insignificant we are when it comes to acts of God.”

“Wow!!!!!! Since moving to Alabama and having a tornado jump right over my house I am so terrified of tornados”, another user tweeted.

One user said, “Oh my gosh. Tornados are so fascinating, but the damage they can do instantly is terrifying. I hope everyone was able to get somewhere safe 💗”

However, the authorities have not issued any serious warning as of now but advised residents to be safe at home.
