Twitter announced on Saturday that it is being blocked in Russia and is attempting to resolve the issue.

“We’re aware that Twitter is being restricted for some people in Russia and are working to keep our service safe and accessible,” the business stated, on its support account.
Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment on whether it is in contact with the Russian government regarding the issue or whether Russia will take any action.

As Russia invades Ukraine, Facebook and Twitter have issued security updates to help Ukrainians safeguard their social media accounts from hackers.

According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Moscow began a full-scale attack on Kyiv early Thursday, killing at least 137 soldiers and wounding 316 more.
