US President Joe Biden on Tuesday outlined his racial equity
agenda, signing four executive actions in order to further the plan.

The President is reportedly using his authority, directing
it against racism and xenophobia towards Asian Americans, especially in scenarios
such as the rising anti-Asian sentiments during the coronavirus pandemic, as per

“This is unacceptable and it’s unAmerican,” Biden
was quoted as saying regarding the hostile sentiments towards the Asian American
population.

White House Domestic Policy Council and the transition team
for Biden have reportedly been preparing executive actions aimed to cater to
the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in US, having discussed the
order with external groups.

Additionally, Biden will reportedly be undoing a Trump-era
ban on racial sensitivity training, as well as abolishing the 1776 Commission.

Several other administrative actions are expected to come up,
focussing largely on areas such tribal government, fair housing, and private
prisons. The administration has also reportedly told external groups that it
was preparing measures on voting rights.
