The September 11 attacks or 9/11 is the deadliest attack on American soil yet and prompted a global war on terror. Four aircrafts had been hijacked to hit various targets. Two crashed into Twin Towers, and one flew into the Pentagon. However, the fourth couldn’t reach Washington, when those onboard revolted, prompting the hijacker to crash the craft.
Twenty-one years later, as America remembers the attack, they’ve resolved to not let terror rest, as US President Joe Biden said in his speech.
Biden was a senator when the attacks took place and led to the US sending troops to Afghanistan. When Biden became president, one of his actions was to order the withdrawal of American soldiers from Afghanistan. However, this decision left his administration reeling.
