Jeff Merkley, a Democratic US Senator, said that the Trump supporters who invaded the premises of the US Capitol building despoiled his chambers and also stole a laptop, reported Reuters.

A video shows that the demonstrators who entered the US Capitol wrecked his office and left behind strewn files, debris, disordered and broken cabinets and a cigarette butt.

In the three-minute-long video, he mentions his stolen laptop which was kept on the desk.

However, the US Senator’s office has still not made a statement on the incident at the US Capitol, reported Reuters.
