Joe Biden, US President is making the impossible
possible by uniting cats and dogs together in the White house. The Bidens have revealed they will be bringing a cat
with them too along with their two german shepherds, Champ, 12 and Major, 2.
The White House also the People’s House will again become a haven of pets.
According to a report in Guardian, the news was teased in a weekend television episode. Jill, during the show, had said that the family would love to get a cat as she loves having animals around the house.
In recent years, the most famous ‘first cat’ was ‘Socks’. He was an adopted stray who lived with Bill and Hillary Clinton at the White House from 1993 to 2001.
When Biden will join his office next year, his
wife Jill and he will bring their two dogs along with them. They will be the first
dogs to occupy the Oval Office after the departure of Bo and Sunny, the Obama’s
Portuguese water dogs in 2016.

Joe Biden is going to reinstate the long-time
tradition back to the White House this January, which was a pet-free zone for
four years. Champ is there with Biden family since December 2008, weeks after
Biden was elected as the Vice President of US.
Major joined them eight years
later when the Biden family adopted him from a Delaware Humane Association and made
the official adoption in November 2018, according to an AFP report.
They even made an Instagram account for their doggies on Monday and named the account “first dogs USA”. The account has 10
photos of both the dogs and it has already crossed 55,000 followers.

Major also featured in many of Biden’s social media posts
during his presidential campaign, including one video captioned: “No ruff days
on the trail when I have some Major motivation”.
