A Georgia man identified as ‘witch doctor’ was arrested for allegedly raping a woman in Duluth earlier this week. The victim informed police that she connected with Hassan Shalgheen on social media and went to his apartment for a ritual cleansing Sunday night. Shalgheen asked her to take off her clothes, then allegedly forced himself on her, reported Fox 5 Atlanta.

Who is Hassan Shalgheen?
Hassan Shalgheen was booked into the Gwinnett County Adult Detention Center on a $5,900 bond. He was charged with two counts of rape, false imprisonment, theft by deception, and sexual battery, according to jail records. He remained in jail as of Saturday. Shalgheen is 44 years old and lives in Georgia.

According to Duluth Police Department, there may be more victims who have been sexually assaulted by Shalgheen who claimed to be a witch doctor. They are asking anyone who may have been hurt by Shalgheen to call them.
One neighbor who lives near Hassan Shalgheen said that they saw multiple women go in and out of his apartment, reported Channel 2 Gwinnett County Bureau Chief Matt Johnson.
Johnson went by Shalgheen’s apartment Friday and found some damage to his front door from where police busted in to arrest him.
The bodycam footage shows more than a dozen Duluth police officers, some with shields and helmets, showed up to take Shalgheen into custody. The clip shows him sitting on the stairs in handcuffs.

The victim called 911 on Sunday from Shalgheen’s apartment on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Summerchase Drive at around 11 pm. “We’re here to execute a search warrant. I’m going to have my copies here with me, and also, we got a search warrant for mucus swabs, DNA,” one of the officers on the video is heard telling Shalgheen.

According to the arrest warrant, the victim sent him two electronic payments totaling $500 for his unorthodox services.
