Jacob Barroso was arrested on Saturday and charged with murder, robbery, identity theft, grand larceny and conspiracy, ABC News reported citing NYPD.

Jacob Barroso, 30, is the suspect in an incident in which two men died after being drugged and assaulted at a gay nightclub in New York City.
The police said that Barroso was charged with the deaths of John Umberger and Julio Ramirez, and added that their deaths were ruled homicides after they were administered fentanyl-laced drugs.
Apart from Barroso, law enforcement officials are looking for two other people in relation to the case, ABC reported.
Per the report, the death of Ramirez, 25, happened in the back of a taxi, where he was found dead on April 21, 2022. His bank accounts were also drained on the same night he visited the Ritz Bar and Lounge.
Umberger, 33, on the other hand, was found dead at an apartment on East 61st Street on June 1, 2022. He was temporarily living there, having arrived in the city on a business trip. More than $200,000 was stolen from his accounts, through his phone and credit card, ABC News reported.
The NYPD told ABC News that the two deaths are part of a pattern of robberies that took place between September 19, 2021, and August 28, 2022, and the police are investigating 17 similar cases fitting the pattern.
Furthermore, at least 43 incidents of drugged robberies in and around Manhattan clubs since September 2021, Out of them, seven have resulted in fatal overdose.
