Who is Jason Sobe?

Jason Sobe is a model agent at Wilhelmina in New York, as per his LinkedIn account. Several social media users bashed him online for antisemitic remarks and for supporting Hamas and denying the October 7 attack, beheadings, and murders of Jews.

He was circled on social media for his views. One X user wrote, “these are the worst ones. The ones that deny Hamas brutally slaughtered people and instead the Jews did it. This is the most insulting and disgusting thing there is. @Wilhelmina needs to fire this lying antisemite”

“Their hatred runs so deep, they’re willfully destroying their careers…It’s good, let them keep exposing themselves.” another user wrote.

One X user tweeted, “This is hate speech and can be seen as promoting violence, apartheid, and jihadist ideologies. Shame! Rules and regulations will catch up with him and others like him… (I hope) #Antisemitism”

Another user wrote, “@Wilhelmina there is something very wrong with Jason Sobe’s denial of the atrocities committed by Hamas. By denying them he is a terrorist supporter. I wouldn’t think he is a good representative of your company.”

Several people demanded his termination from his employment at Wilhelmina for his views and comments online.
