Ludovico F. Feoli, a Tulane professor, has been named the Rex King on Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday Day. Rex is a New Orleans Carnival Krewe that stages parades on Mardi Gras Day.

The Rex King and Queen Evaline Gomalia arrived in New Orleans by boat at the Riverfront on Lundi Gras Day – Monday. Feoli, who is from Costa Rica, will lead the parade down St. Charles Avenue.

Feoli is a political scientist, researcher and administrator. He serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Inter-American Policy and Research at Tulane University. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Foreign Policy Institute.
