Natalie Biden and her grandfather Joe Biden, the
President of the United States, cast their votes early for the midterm
elections in his home state of Delaware on Saturday. After voting, Joe Biden
pinned an ‘I Voted’ sticker on Natalie Biden’s shirt.

In-person voting in Delaware began Friday morning. This
is the first time that Delaware will have early voting in a general election,
said Democratic National Committee chair Jaime Harrison.

Who is Natalie Biden?

Natalie Biden is the granddaughter of US President Joe
Biden, eldest daughter of his son, the late Beau Biden. Natalie Biden was born
on August 4, 2004 to Beau and Hallie Biden. She is 18 years old and a high
school senior. Natalie Biden’s father Beau died of brain cancer in 2015, when
she was 11 years old.

Natalie Biden has largely remained away from the
public eye. Her social media accounts, unlike some of her cousins, are not
public.

Natalie Biden is a first-time voter this year.

Natalie Biden visited the University of Pennsylvania
in the Fall of 2022 along with her grandfather.

Natalie’s father Beau’s death in 2015 had shocked the
nation. Beau Biden is Joe Biden’s eldest son from his first wife Neilia Harris Biden.
Neilia died on December 18, 1972 in a car crash along with her youngest
daughter Nora. Beau and Hunter survived the accident.

Why did Joe Biden vote early?

The US President has been on the campaign trail for
the last few days. This was his opportunity to visit Wilmington, Delaware, his
home state and the place which sent him to the Senate back in 1972.

“I am going to be spending the rest of the time making
the case that this is not a referendum. It is a choice. A fundamental choice. A
choice between two very different visions for the country,” Biden said.
