Shortly after 9 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex. According to the victim, who was on her way to a Wendy’s with her toddler, she noticed a silver Acura that she had seen passing by her Daytona Beach home in the previous days. The victim approached and inspected because the Acura was parked at the property.

An dispute erupted between her partner and a “unknown woman,” identified as Percy. Percy allegedly unlocked the trunk of her Acura, took a revolver, and fired “3 or 4” shots toward the victim and her car, in which the toddler was seated.

The victim took cover in her car and dialed 911. The mother and child were both uninjured. Witnesses mostly verified the victim’s story, and officers later identified Percy as the “mistress” of the victim’s boyfriend.

Her arraignment is set for December 5th.
