Walker Bush was the president of the United States of
America when the twin towers of the World Trade Centre was knocked down by 19
terrorists killing close to 3,000 innocent people. The assailants belonged to
the Islamist group Al-Qaeda who coordinated the attacks and used 4 aircrafts to
attack the towers and the Pentagon. In New York, Police and fire
departments were hard-hit with hundreds rushed to the spot and more than 400 of
them were killed while responding to the emergency situation.

and was serving as the 43rd head of the state He was born in the Bush family and his father, George H. Bush, who was also the 41st president of USA from 1989 to 1993.

At the aftermath of the tragic incident,
the president famously proclaimed, “America and
our friends and allies join with all those who want peace and security in the
world, and we stand together to win the war against terrorism… This is a day
when all Americans from every walk of life unite in our resolve for justice and
peace. America has stood down enemies before, and we will do so this time. None
of us will ever forget this day, yet we go forward to defend freedom and all
that is good and just in our world.”

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization or the NATO
comprising of the US and its allies declared war on terror and invaded
Afghanistan. Dismantling the government of the day in the country which is
often known as the ‘graveyard of empires’.

Many conspiracy theories attribute the planning and execution of the dastardly
attacks including those that prior knowledge of the attacks was available among the high level government officials.
