Bayleef is a pale-yellow quadrupedal
Pokémon that looks like a sauropod dinosaur. It features a long neck, crimson
eyes, a stubby tail, and a small, rounded nose. Bayleef’s each foot possesses a
single, light grey nail.  A green leaf
sprouts from its forehead and curves back over its head.

Its neck is surrounded by a series of
tightly curved leaves. Inside each leaf is a small shoot of a tree. The aroma
whirling from the leaves has a spicy scent and provides various beneficial
effects on those that inhale it. The perfume acts as a healing stimulant.

It has the same extroverted personality
as Chikorita, but is more cautious. Meganium and other grass kinds are sources
of information for it. It will flee danger and leave its siblings to the
care of its mother. If the mother dies, the Bayleef will not look after
its siblings, preferring instead to join other grass kinds for protection or to
join a herd of migrating Meganium.

Bayleef has a max Combat Power (CP) of
1,454 and has no evolution.
