DC FanDome is turning out to be treat for fans of DC movies, television, comics, and games. Fans got to see a trailer for director Matt Reeves’ The Batman with Robert Pattinson and first looks at John Cena-led Peacemaker series from The Suicide Squad writer-director James Gunn. Other upcoming DC films showcased include The Flash starring Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton. Pierce Brosnan’s first look as Doctor Fate in the Dwayne Johnson-led Black Adam that wrapped production in July has also been revealed.

Ever since the former James Bond teased his Doctor Fate costume on Instagram, fans have been excited about seeing his look in the movie. Brosnan had said his costume requires him to wear a motion-capture suit.

In a chat shared by Twitter users @blackadamnews back in June, Dylan Brosnan was seen telling his dad that he’s excited to see him in the Doctor Fate costume. “I know, I know,” Brosnan replied. “I do have to put the motion-capture suit on, which is an acting challenge in itself. But luckily, I was brought up in the theatre, so I know how to get into tights and act the goat,” he added with a laugh.”

Johnson and Brosnan will be joined in Black Adam by Aldis Hodge of Underground, The Invisible Man fame as Hawkman. Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I Love Before, Charlie’s Angels) will be seen as Atom Smasher, while Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets, Euphoria) as Cyclone. The movie will also feature Sarah Shahi (The L Word, Sex/Life) as Adrianna Tomaz. Uli Latukefu (Young Rock), Marwan Kenzari (The Old Guard, Aladdin) Mohammed Amer (Ramy), James Cusati-Moyer (Prodigal Son), Bodhi Sabongui (Legends of Tomorrow) have also been cast.

Black Adam is currently scheduled to release on July 29, 2022.
