As a result of Biden’s visit, the President has been the subject of numerous “Dark Brandon” memes on Twitter, with many people praising him for the gracious gesture.
For those who don’t know, Joe Biden goes under the nickname ‘Dark Brandon’ on social media and in memes. The term ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ was used to criticize the name at first, but as time went on, Biden fans began to use the alternate phrase positively, often with humor.

For those unaware of the backstory, on February 24 of last year, Russia started an invasion of Ukraine to prevent it from joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The US supports Kyiv in the Russia-Ukraine conflict since it is a founding member of NATO and is Russia’s archenemy.
Significantly, this is the first time a US president has visited a warzone without American troops on the ground. The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, greeted Biden and shared a photo of the two of them on Telegram, describing their meeting as “an extremely important sign of support.”

Biden also criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit, saying, “When Putin launched his invasion nearly one year ago, he thought Ukraine was weak and the West was divided. He thought he could outlast us. But he was dead wrong. ” He continued by saying that the US had formed a coalition of countries from the Atlantic to the Pacific over the previous year to support Ukraine.
