Kermit the frog – Jim Henson’s Muppet character – was seen on TV in front of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh at the coronation concert on Sunday.

Kermit the Frog is a beloved character created by Jim Henson, who is most famous for being the leader of the Muppets. Kermit is a green anthropomorphic frog with a distinctive collar and a trademark pair of big, round eyes. He is known for his kind and gentle nature, as well as his signature song “The Rainbow Connection.”

Kermit has appeared in numerous television shows, films, and other media over the years, often serving as the central figure around which the other Muppets revolve. He has also been a frequent guest on talk shows and other programs, where he is often treated as a real-life personality rather than a fictional character. Kermit’s popularity has endured for decades, and he is widely regarded as one of the most iconic and beloved characters in pop culture history.

The Coronation Concert commenced at 8pm and was expected to last for approximately two hours. The event was being broadcasted live on BBC One and was anchored by Kirsty Young, who hosted BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs. Notably, the concert was staged on the East Lawn of Windsor Castle, which marked the first time a concert had been held in the historic grounds.

An estimated crowd of 20,000 individuals, including volunteers affiliated with the King and Queen’s charities, gathered in the Windsor Castle grounds to witness the event.

Take That, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie were among the performers at the Coronation Concert. In addition, Paloma Faith, Olly Murs, veteran rock guitarist Steve Winwood, and Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussycat Dolls also graced the stage with their performances.
