A private airplane crash in Malaysia resulted in a terrible event that left 10 people dead. According to reports from Malaysian officials, the plane was attempting to land when it crashed onto a highway, striking a car and a motorbike.

The video of the tragic incident surfaced on social media leaving fans in shock.

Six passengers and two crew members were on board the Beechcraft plane, according to Malaysia’s civil aviation authority. The unfortunate trip had been headed from Langkawi to Selangor, which is located west of the nation’s capital, Kuala Lumpur.

According to the Selangor police chief, the aircraft’s failure to maintain contact with the air traffic control tower played a part in the tragic disaster.

The unfortunate accident happened just before 3 p.m. local time when the private plane was just about to complete its landing when it plunged onto the highway.

The terrifying footage of the plane rushing towards the ground with incredible speed was taken by a dashcam. The accident and impact caused a cataclysmic explosion that erupted into a wide wave of ferocious flames that enveloped the highway.

According to Malaysia’s civil aviation authority, the unfortunate aircraft was traveling from the upmarket tourist spot of Langkawi to Subang Airport.

Husein Omar Khan, the head of Selangor’s police department, confirmed that the plane had not sent out any emergency distress signals. He continued, saying, “The airplane had already received authorization for landing.” Despite having the flight manifest, he chose not to share precise information at this time.

Norazman Mahmud, the CEO of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM), provided additional context for the sequence of events. According to him, the first contact between the plane and the Subang air traffic control tower took place at 2:47 p.m. The landing clearance was subsequently given at 2:48 p.m.
