Actor Suraj Pancholi quit the social media app Instagram on Friday night. Pancholi shared an Instagram story stating, “See you Instagram” and added that he would make a return to the platform once the world is a better place.

He wrote “I, need to breath(e)” following it with a hashtag stating suffocated. Pancholi also deleted all of his Instagram posts, cryptically leaving behind one post from November 2019. The post was shared on the eve of his birthday, wherein he had thanked his fans for standing by him.

Pancholi decided to stay away from social media after his name was dragged into Sushant Singh Rajput and his manager Disha Salian’s untimely death.

Pancholi had also filed a police complaint against people harassing him and linking him with Disha and Sushant’s demise.

Pancholi’s solitary post on Instagram highlights what the actor had gone through when he was accused of allegedly abetting actress Jiah Khan’s suicide.

His only Instagram post talks about the strength and love he had received from his fans and about how he wanted to move forward.

Khan and Pancholi had been dating when the former committed suicide in 2013. Pancholi was arrested and interviewed under suspicion of allegedly aiding Khan’s suicide after the late actor’s suicide note indicated the couple’s strained relationship as a reason for her death.
