YouTuber Jake “DALLMYD” claims to have been aboard the Titan earlier this year for a trip to the Titanic shipwreck, and he documented his experience with Stockton at the controls.

Stockton shows off the iconic video game joystick he uses to steer the tiny submersible in this excursion… and the clip also illustrates the confined quarters inside.

The sub plunged into the ocean, but the dive was eventually cancelled due to a series of malfunctions and terrible weather conditions… on this journey, they never got deep below the surface, and didn’t even come close to the Titanic shipwreck on the bottom of the Atlantic.

“Titanic” director James Cameron blamed Stockton for the ill-fated journey saying he ignored safety concerns much like the captain of the real Titanic.
