A
Pakistan International
Airlines (PIA) pilot on Saturday claimed to have of spotted a shiny,
unidentified flying object (UFO) in the sky during a domestic PK-304, Geo TV reported.

Citing some unknown
sources, Geo TV report said that the UFO was captured near Rahim Yar Khan while
operating a domestic flight from Karachi to Lahore.

According
to the pilot, the object appeared to be extremely shiny despite the presence of
sunlight, adding that such appearance at the time of the day is quite rare to
spot.

If the Pakistani pilot’s testimony is to be believed,
the the thing he spotted in
the sky was not a planet but could be a “space station” or an
“artificial planet” near the Earth.

According to a PIA spokesperson, that the UFO was
observed by the pilot on January 23 at around 4 pm during a Lahore-bound flight
from Karachi.

Adding that the flight captain immediately reported
the sighting back to the control room, the PIA official said, “It is too
early to say what that object was. In fact, we might no be able to tell what
the object was at all. However, something was spotted and it was reported in
accordance with the required protocol.”

However, as bizarre as it may seem, it is not the
first time this year that a UFO was spotted.

Earlier this month, several eyewitnesses alerted the
police and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Hawaii after locals
spotted a bright blue object over the skies in Oahu falling into the ocean on
January 5.
