The Duke of Edinburgh was hospitalised on February 16 as a “precautionary measure”. This is the longest ever Prince Philip has stayed in hospital.

The 99-year-old was admitted to King Edward VII hospital but a couple of days ago was shifted to St Bartholomew’s Hospital.

Queen Elizabeth II, 94, has not met the Duke of Edinburg since his admission to hospital as their age puts them at heightened risk from coronavirus. The Royal couple had received their first jab of COVID-19 vaccine in January.
