Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero bid goodbye to the Etihad Stadium in a way he knows the best, that is, scoring goals and breaking records. In his last game at Manchester with City colours, Aguero on Sunday scored a brace against Everton and went past Wayne Rooney’s record of scoring the most number of goals for a club in the Premier League for one club. He needed two goals at the start of the match to go past Rooney’s record of 183 goals.

In the 64th minute, in came Kun Aguero from the bench, and it took him only seven minutes to get his 183rd PL goal. And within another five minutes, he scored another, and City’s fifth goal of the evening to end the match with a scoreline of 5-0 over Everton.

Aguero joined the club in 2011 and was part of all five Manchester City teams that won the Premier League. He also won the golden boot in the 2014-15 season with 26 goals.

In his blistering PL career, among his 184 goals in the competition, his most famous goal was the winner he scored against Queens Park Rangers (QPR) on the final day of the 2011-12 season, which was arguably the club’s most important goal since it handed them their first PL trophy.
