As the Russian troops continue to invade different regions of Ukraine, several photos and videos of Ukrainians bidding farewell to their loved ones in order to stay back to fight have emerged on social media. One such clip doing the rounds shows a man saying goodbye to his wife and daughter at a safe zone for civilians, from where the two will be taken to a shelter.

The 45-second video shows the man, in tears, putting a winter hat on his little daughter’s head before bending down and crying profusely. The child too cries in unison. The man then embraces his daughter and wife, before the two get onto the bus likely leaving town for safety. The video, which was first shared by independent media New News EU on Wednesday, has since gone viral on Twitter, raking over 1.5 million views.
